Matt Wiederhold (Director) - Matt has worn many hats at the Village, including director, actor, set designer and lighting technician. He was last seen on the Village stage as Carlo in
A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine. Other community theatre groups who were lucky to have him include Bedford Community Players and Rivers End Players. His desire to direct
1940's Radio Hour spurred by his role as Biff in the production at the Ohio Theatre. The Village is proud to have Matt as a member of its Board of Directors. When not involved in the theatre, he is an Art Researcher at the Toledo Museum of Art. Matt wishes to thank his family and friends, especially "The Breakfast Club" and "Corndog" for their undying support
Tracy Sintic (Pianist) - Tracy is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Music Education at the University of Toledo. She has played piano for all the choirs at U.T,. and played in the orchestra pit for Bedford High School's production of
Fiddler on the Roof. Tracy also sang with the Toledo Symphony Chorus in
Beethoven's Ninth, Debussy's Nocturnes and Bloch's Sacred
Service. Tracy thanks her fiancé Josh for his support, and Steve for giving her the opportunity to work with "such a wonderful cast."
Marc Malley (Pops) - Marc is no stranger to the Village. He last appeared on our stage as Artie in
The House of Blue Leaves. He recently appeared as Mr. Dusel in The Diary of Anne Frank
with the Black Swamp Players. Marc would like to acknowledge his parents; his father played the saxophone during World War II.
Scott Greggory (Clifton) - This is Scott's first appearance on the Village stage. He fondly recalls his acting talents in his high school productions of
Bus Stop and Harvey. Professionally, Scott has entertained radio listeners as the announcer for
Love Notes on a local radio station, as well as doing voice overs and advertisements for TV commercials. Scott currently is the Creative Director for Powerhouse Productions while continuing to do TV and Radio ads. He enjoys restoring his 75 year old home, collecting primitive antiques and Cleveland Indians Baseball. Scott wants acknowledge and thank his wife Amy (Ginger Brooks in this show). We welcome you to the Village stage, Scott!
Scott Jackson (Zoot) - Scott is a "Jack of all Trades" at the Village, where he has worked in our sound and light booths, as well as in our lobby as an usher and box office volunteer. He was the Production Assistant in last season's
Lips Together, Teeth Apart. His stage credits include the voice of the Book in
How to Succeed in Business.. at Delphos, and the Drummer in The Wonderful Story of Mother
Goose. Scott is a self-taught drummer, beginning in the 4th grade and also studied piano for two years. He wants to thank his close friends and family for their support.
Jacob "Jake" Gordy (Wally) - Jake is making his acting debut on the Village stage, however he has been singing since he was two years old. He sings mostly at weddings and piano bars. Currently, Jake is employed as a Network Analyst/Application Specialist for Lucas County Data Processing. In addition to work and singing, Jake is an avid bowler and serves as a committee member for Lend A Loving Hand. Jake thanks his
family (especially his aunt), and his friends for encouraging him to sing. Welcome to the Village, Jake!
Rick Vaught (Lou) - Rick is a well-seasoned actor, appearing in over 45 local productions in Ohio and Michigan. He appeared on the Village stage in
Six Degrees of Separation and played Uncle Fred in Prelude to a
Kiss. Rick also has been seen in City of Angels, and 1776 at The Rep; and
The Man Who Came To Dinner, Oklahoma and Puck in Midsummer Night's Dream
at The Croswell Opera House. Rick is also a Youth Specialist providing guidance and direction to students at Adrian Training School. He boasts a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwando, and performs in "Relections," a singing group of Bedford Community Theatre. Rick thanks his wife Barb for her love and support.
Steve Antalek (Johnny & Choral Director) - This is Steve's first time on the Village stage, but he has an impressive musical background. He was last seen as Judah in
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Toledo Rep. He also appeared in
Three Penny Opera and A Comedy of Errors at the University of Toledo. Steve has a degree in Music Education and is employed as the Choir Director at New Hope United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Glass City Class Dance Troupe. Steve would like to thank his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Francis Antalek, for all their love and support through the years. We're glad to have you, Steve!
Amy Scott (Ginger) - Amy has an extensive and impressive background in stage productions. She toured nationally as Dorothy in the
Wizard of Oz, performed the roles of Sally in Cabaret and Ilona in
She Loves Me for Utah Musical Theatre and appeared in local productions of
Nunsense, as well as in numerous productions at the Toledo rep and Croswell Opera House. Amy last appeared on the Village stage in
A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine. Her most recent achievement was being a featured performer at Dollywood where she flew 224 times as
Mary Poppins! Most often, Amy is working at Centre Stage Productions of Adrian, where she performs interactive murder mysteries and original music productions at the Secret Garden. Amy extends a hearty congratulations to her husband Scott (Clifton) for his performance in this show. "Nice work, Jerky!"
Hope Pennington (Connie) - Hope comes to the Village with much acting and singing experience. She has performed with the Monroe Community and Bedford Players and many high school productions. Her most memorable performances include roles in
Babes in Toyland, Little Shop of Horrors, Charlotte's Web,
Wizard of Oz, and Romeo and Juliet. Hope attends Michigan College of Beauty and is a waitress. Hope thanks her mom Chris and boyfriend Kevin who are "patient with me while I pursue my dreams!"
Benjamin Lumbrezer (B.J.) - Ben was last on the Village stage in Six Degrees of
Separation. He performs for the Mystery Theatre at the Spaghetti Warehouse. Ben was in the 1994 All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir and appeared in
Madame Butterfly with the Toledo Opera. He is currently a waiter at Ruby Tuesday and is a Semi-Professional Actor.
Rick Woods (Neal) - Rick graced our stage last season in Working
playing a sexy gas man and macho truck driver! He was also in the Village production of
Prelude to a Kiss as a bartender. He has appeared as Danny in Grease
and Christmas Future in the Toledo Rep's A Christmas Carol. So what does Rick really do?! He is an Executive Server at the Owens-Corning World Headquarters! How lucky can you get? Rick thanks his family and friends at the Monroe St. Red Lobster, and a great cast, "for putting up with me!"
Laura A. Amico (Ann) - Laura was most recently seen as the Narrator in the Toledo Rep's production of
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She also appeared with Friar Tuck's Villagers in
Garters and Bobbysox and Ruthless at Grandma Rose's. If Laura looks familiar, you have seen her anchor the news on Channel 24, NBC. Besides her involvement in community theatre, Laura also lends her talents as a volunteer for the Epilepsy Association and Visiting Nurse Services. Laura is happy to make her debut performance with the Village Players. She dedicates this performance to her mom and dad who instilled in her a big love for the Big Bands and Frank Sinatra.
Brenda Waters (Geneva) - This is Brenda's second time around as Geneva Lee Brown. She also played the role in the production at the Ohio Theatre. Brenda is a music teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School where she directed
Man of the House last spring. Brenda is also a handbell director and a children's choir director. She thanks her husband and children for letting her out of the house in time for rehearsals. The Village Players is pleased to welcome Brenda to our stage!
Derek Nolte (Biff) - Derek is making his theatrical debut in this show. He is a graduate of Maumee High School and is a Draft Processor for Fifth Third Bank, Retail Lending. Derek enjoys bowling, amateur photography and physical fitness. Derek thanks his family and friends for their support. Also a big thank you to David Jerman, Music Director at Maumee High School for lending him a trumpet while his was being fixed. Thanks Dave - you're a lifesaver! And thanks Derek for joining our Village Family!
