... of new plays by local writers.

Three nights of staged readings of new plays by Toledo playwrights !!!

Three new plays by Northwest Ohio (or Southeast Michigan) playwrights will receive developmental readings at the Village Players, open to the public; reception and discussion to follow. It’s a chance not only to hear your play read aloud in front of an audience, but also to work on the script with a company of actors and a committed director.

Guidelines

1. There is no entry fee.
2. There is no restriction on length, cast size, or subject matter.
3. Playwrights must be residents of Northwestern Ohio or Southeastern Michigan
4. Submissions will be accepted from March 1st until September 1st, 2006.
5. Scripts must be typed and securely bound. Author contact information – including name, address, phone number and e-mail (if possible) – should appear on the cover page.
6. If the playwright wants his/her script returned, an SASE must be enclosed.
7. Winners will be announced in November, 2006, and their names and the names of the winning plays posted on The Village Players website
