The Director

Terry R. Watson (Director/Captain/Sam & Choreographer):  Terry is one of the most versatile performers in the city, playing such roles as the Phantom in Pinchpenny Phantom of the Opera, The Emcee in Cabaret, and Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, all with The Village, and Bert Barry in 42nd Street with Bedford Community Players and Black Swamp Players.  Terry also choreographs for local high school productions, and loves to shop with his wife!  By day, Terry is a Manager of Inventory Control.  Fourteen years ago, Terry first shared this stage with Sue Carter Smith, he's happy to do it again.

The Cast

Sue Carter Smith (Joan): Sue has a BA in Theatre from Otterbien College and has directed and choreographed for Bedford High School Theatre Arts for the past 12 years!  She has worked as a professional dancer and actress and has won top awards for her choreography of Rossford High School's How to Succeed in Business ... and The Rep's Joseph.  She is happy to be back at The Village where you may remember her from such shows as Fiddler on the Roof, Fools, TinTypes, Baby and Pump Boys and Dinettes. By day, Sue is a Dance and Theatre instructor at Adrian College.  She would like to acknowledge Chelsea and Kyle her children, and Mark, her "golf pro" husband, for whom she has taken up the sport as well.  Welcome back, Sue!

Pamela West-Williams (Mona Kent): Pam was last seen on our stage as Lucy in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She has also performed in Baby, Pinchpenny Phantom of the Opera, TinTypes, and Daisy Mae in Lil' Abner. Elsewhere in Toledo, she has played leads in The Pirates of Penzance, Hello Dolly, Brigadoon and Music Man. When not on stage, Pam may be found playing her other role, Musical Director for Perrysburg High School, strolling down 5th Avenue in New York, or cruising in the Bahamas. Pam also enjoys the time she spends with her daughter, "Sheena E", who is also her student.

Norb Mills (Hennesey):  Norb is a veteran performer and has been a "Village Player" for many years. Favorite productions include 70, Girls, 70, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Cabaret, Inherit the Wind, Black Comedy, and Company. While not dancing in the hallways of Versailles with Jean, Norb is a professor at the University of Toledo, and is said to swing a mean golf club on the courses. In the course of his acting career, Norb has garnered 2 OCTA Acting awards! His next theatrical foray will be as the Co-Director of our next show, Pvt. Wars.

Melissa Kidder (Ruby):  Melissa is a new addition to The Village family, but by no means is she new to the stage. She has appeared in such shows as The World Goes 'Round, Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance, and Erma in Anything Goes at the Black Swamp Players. She is also credited with BGSU's production of Fiddler on the Roof, and BG High School's production of Our Town. In her spare time she enjoys captaining the varsity soccer team. Welcome to The Village Melissa!

Joe Dennehy (Dick): Joe gave us little to write his bio, so we had to dig up dirt on him.  His favorite roles include Stewpot in South Pacific at the Croswell and chorus in Carousel and West Side Story at The Rep. By day Joe does quality management for a metal stamping plant. Joe was last seen on The Village stage as Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret.

Ryan Mahaffey (Lucky): Ryan's credits are almost too numerous to mention, but we'll try! For The Rep, he has played a sailor in Carousel, local lad in The Who's Tommy, and Sam in Crazy for You. For the Fremont Community Theatre he has been Rocky in Damn Yankees, for Oregon Community Theatre, he choreographed Bye Bye Birdie, and he played Motel in Fiddler on the Roof for both of them. When not treading the boards, he can either be found behind the front desk at the Wyndham Hotel, or assistant directing for St. Joseph's Central Catholic High School. He also claims to have been Papa Bear at Cedar Point for a year. Welcome to The Village stage, Ryan, we're glad to be part of your list!
