Nancy Wright (Director): Nancy is a former Equity actor turned writer. A member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Nancy has had her own plays professionally produced in New York, Chicago, Tampa, and Norfolk. Her most recent works include Mimi's Famous Company, Becoming . . . Somebody, Zoë's Story, Remembering Day, and Cherchez Dave Robicheaux. Under assorted pseudonyms, she also writes books. Current projects include a young-adult novel, A.K.A. Talley Greenleaf, and a suspense thriller tentatively titled The Time Teller. Nancy thanks her husband Wayne Fager and everyone at the Village who made it possible for her to direct here again. She will be back next season.
Tiffany Taylor (Nicole): "It's great to be returning to the Toledo stage after a long hiatus, a break that produced my beautiful son Jude!" says Tiffany. She's also thrilled to be exorcizing some demons in this play with a cast that has "invited me into the family here at the Village." She would like to thank Jude and his father, who keep her on the ground and dreaming. Welcome to the Village!
Diana West (Gabby): Diana is returning to the Village stage after and absence of over 3 years. She says the role of Gabby and working with Nancy Wright again brought her back and she hopes to stay! No stranger to the Village, Diana has worn many hats over the years including serving on the Board of Directors, producing and working backstage in many capacities. However, being on stage is her first love, having performed in theatres in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio. An OCTA award recipient for her performances in Sylvia, she will also be remembered for her performances on our stage in such productions as Lips Together, Teeth Apart, Abandoned Houses, Speaking of Murder, and Rumors, to name a few. During the day, in her "real life", she is an office manager with a tool and die company and enjoys her three cats; Missy Ann, Carly and Pearl. Welcome back, Diana!
Laura Fleck (Helen, et. al.): While new to the stage, Laura has made a habit of hanging out with actors, artists, musicians, rabble-rousers and other malcontents for most of her life. Decidedly right-brained in her after-hours activities as VP of Public Relations for the Village Players, Laura pays the bills using the left side of her brain as a programmer/analyst for Honeywell in Perrysburg. Playing 8 different characters seems fitting for Laura. Just ask anyone who knows her! Laura would like to thank her family and friends for their support in this, the latest of her obsessions. "Thank you to my very own 'Nicole', who has taught me a great deal about living life to the fullest. Et merci avec tout mon coeur, mon petit chou-chou. Je t'aime."
Andy Neary (Mark, et. al.): After 3 1/2 years working backstage, Andy is elated to be performing again. Since his last appearance on stage in A Little Night Music at UT, he has been designing lights, stage managing, building sets and managing a small (now disbanded) theatre company. Most recently, he directed A Doll's house here at the Village, last season. Then not working on theatrical endeavors, he originates and processes mortgage loans. Thanks so much to Danette for her knowledge, cooperation, and most of all, patience during the collaborative lighting design process for this show.
