The Director

Paul Palmisano (Director). Paul directed the musical The Fantasticks last May and also played the role of the Indian/Pirate. Most of Paul’s acting and directing credits took place during his 50 years in Cincinnati. He acted with Rod Serling (Twilight Zone) when he was a writer at WLW-TV, and starred in a PBS Children’s Hour opposite Kaye Ballard.

Paul is a retired Human Resource Director from Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center and is currently a board member of The Village Players. He thanks his lovely wife Jean for her love and support.

To his cast, The Magnificent Seven as he calls them, and to the wonderful crew, he offers many thanks, much gratitude and best wishes for continued success.

The Cast

Norb Mills (H.C. Curry) An award wining actor and director, Norb was last seen on stage as the cantankerous, retired cab driver in Squabbles. Last year he directed The Melville Boys. A retired professor from the University of Toledo, Norb enjoys traveling with his wife Jean, ballroom dancing, and playing golf.
Martin Boyer (Noah Curry) Martin is a 38-year veteran of the local community theatre scene. He has performed with the following players: Village, Bedford, Glenwood, Cathedral, Rep and Waterville. His last performance on The Village Players stage was as Private Selridge in Biloxi Blues. Married with three children, Martin took a 15-year hiatus from acting to raise his family. Recent roles include those in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Don’t Hug Me, and The Music Man at the Waterville Playshop. Away from the stage, Martin is a quality control inspector for a metal fabrication shop in Perrysburg. Welcome back to The Village Players, Martin!

Some of his favorite roles have been, Peter Sloan in Light Up the Sky, Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap, Abner Truckle in Sly Fox, Don Jon in Much Ado About Nothing, Eli in The Spitfire Grill, and Magnus, aka Inspector Hound in The Real Inspector Hound. Brad also serves on the board of directors for The Village Players.

She is excited for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast!
