
Andrew J. Neary (Director): Andrew
makes his Village Players directorial debut with this show. He has also
played "Hank" in Marvin's Room and designed the lights for Cabaret
at the Village. At UT, he has been in several productions, stage-managed
three shows, and directed Betrayed & The Actor's Nightmare.
Recently, he and his business partner lay to rest "Toledo's other
theatre," The Oberon, after several Shakespeare's in the Park.
Jodi Alexander (Maid/Helene): This is Jodi's first show with the Village Players and hopefully not her last She is single. She is employed as a Wood County Case Manager and is a Weight Watchers Representative. Her hobbies include kickboxing, ice skating, bowling and piano.
Hannah Friess (Child): This is Hannah's first acting role with the Village, but she claims "I'm a super star." Her hobbies include bowling and singing.
Jim Jeffries (Nils Krogstad): Jim's last Village performance was in Night Watch. He also appeared in the Village Players production of Beau Jest. Last season he directed The Sisters Rosenwig at the Fort Findley playhouse. He's been in many productions at the Fort Findley playhouse. Jim is a web developer at Marathon Oil Company in Findley.
Matthew W. Kizaur (Dr. Rank): Mat wishes to thank the cast and crew of A Doll's House and the Village Players for the wonderful opportunity to work with such fine folks. This is his first show at the Village Players. Matt has worked in professional and community theatres in Chicago, Green Bay, Ann Arbor, and most recently here in Toledo as Mike in Wait Until Dark. He recently appeared in and independent film entitled Cheap, Dead, Stolen Red shot in Lexington, Kentucky. After deciding against another year of law school, he plans to continue giving "this here actin' thing" his full attention He also sends all his love to Jessica.
Nancy L. Pieper (Ann Marie): Nancy has always been interested in the theatre. She has taught ballroom dancing and was a board member of the Oberon Theatre She is a retired Executive Secretary from Mercy Hospital making her acting debut in this production as an actress. She enjoys painting (mostly flowers) in acrylics & some portrait sketching. Nancy loves to travel, paint, write and garden.
Kat Pierson (Mrs. Linde): Kat has recently moved to Toledo from Minneapolis, MN and is delighted to make her state debut in Toledo on the Village Players stage. Theatre has been her "lifeblood" and she has trod the boards of many stages. Some of her most memorable roles have been R.V in Middle Aged White Guys, George in Duck Variations, Delores in Working and Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest Kat hopes to be seen in future performances in Ohio and the rest of the world! Jesica Ryczko (Child): Jesica is 10 years old and is a fifth grade student at St. Clement's School She has danced in Echo's of Poland (Polish Dance Group) for three years She has been playing the piano since 1995. She has participated in talent shows and plays at school. She loves all subjects in school except gym.
Cynthia Stroud (Nora Helmer): Cynthia was last seen at the Village Players in ...and a Nightingale Sang, Company, and The Heidi Chronicles. She currently teaches theatre at the University of Toledo and the Performing Arts School of Greater Toledo. She is pleased to report that her real-life marriage to Robert is much more fulfilling than her onstage one.
Robert Stroud (Torvald Helmer): Robert is making his on-stage debut at the Village Players after having met his wife, Cynthia, while working backstage here. He was last seen in the Oberon Theatre's production of Romeo & Juliet. Teaching seventh grade science, working part time at COSI and playing basketball fill the rest of his "free" time.
